“Joni’s home is spectacular… simply marvelous. Nestled in the mountains on a lovely lot. Views are amazing. Elk in the meadows across the valley. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the winter snow come and go from our perfect perch next to the living room fireplace. It’s private and just magnificent. We arrived happy to find the home clean as could be. Beds and linens were luxurious and it appeared to have been recently renovated (still had that “new house” smell). The kitchen is complete. The furniture is nice…personally I loved the leather chair in the bedroom. Appliances (washer/dryer) all worked well. The fireplace was easy and safe to use. The basement is the perfect “man cave.” Big screen TV for movie night and a nice pool table. Satellite internet worked well. Joni and her husband: the perfect hosts!”

“We loved our stay at this peaceful, private home. It was so relaxing. My wife and I stayed here with our 3 kids, 1 infant, and my in-laws. Ventured out to Royal Gorge Park one day, and did a trip to the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls another day. Plus we also enjoyed visiting Salida every day for fun shopping and playing in the Arkansas River. It’s a long drive up to the house off the main road, but it’s so worth it. We really loved doing that drive every day. The view never gets old. Our kids loved the jacuzzi, pool table, and puzzles. Ample space for all of us and very clean. We appreciated the baby gate and high chair as well. Thank you so much Joni! We would definitely come back!”
